We've had lots going on this past month or so at Hack Oldham. From a civic visit from the Mayor of Oldham to taking part in a digital festival at Oldham Library, to an appearance on BBC Radio Manchester, it's been all go! Read on to find out what new things are on offer!
Clockwise from top left: promoting Hack Oldham the old-fashioned way, with a mystery guest as Spider-Man! Our biggest event so far, the Poverty Action Network saw the space full all day with visiting charities from all over the UK! Showing off the 3D printing at the Digital Festival at Oldham Library. Out filmmakers get to grips with directing actors. The Virtual Reality headset up and running on Monday games night!
As you can see, things are getting busier all the time as we try to put on events, digital technology exhibits, VR gaming and more.
But we have much more planned. The co-working special offer is still on, so grab a hot desk while you can! We're about to start our first short film with our filmmakers and actors. And we have some exciting events planned, such as some brand new classes including pottery and screenwriting. So stay tuned, and drop into the Hackspace any time you are passing. Our friendly volunteers will be happy to show you around!
